Exporting Road Centerline out of Location and Terrain

Trouble-shooting: When exporting a road centerline out of location, into Terrain and ultimately to ArcMap, it's important to ensure that a sufficient number of points are exported along the alignment. If not, the road centerline could possibly differ quite significantly from your design.
The Save-As Terrain options has a place to choose which sections are included in the export:

Make sure All is checked or, if that is not good enough, click on the "+" button and include auto interval report points at a reasonable spacing:
