Mass Haul to Export
The Copy Mass Haul to Clipboard function will produce a list of cut and fill station ranges where material from the cut range will be moved to the fill range. The export is in CSV format.
The exported station ranges are determined by the movement zones and balance points on mass-haul.
Exported Fields
- Cut Volume – volume of cut material in the station range.
- Cut Stn1 - start station of the interval.
- Cut Stn2– end station of the interval.
- Cut Centroid – centroid station position of the interval based on mass quantities.
- Fill Volume – volume of cut material in the station range.
- Fill Stn1 - start station of the interval.
- Fill Stn2– end station of the interval.
- Fill Centroid – centroid station position of the interval based on mass quantities.
- Type –type of movement.
Free Haul: The distance material can be moved economically using the most common equipment, like dozers. In some systems, this is defined as a specific distance (e.g., 30m.).
Overhaul: The additional distance material is moved beyond the free haul distance. This is an extra cost for transportation and is often compensated for in a contract.
Borrow: Material that must be trucked in from an external source.
Waste (or End Haul): Material that must be trucked away from the project site.
- Over Haul (vol*dist)–volume of overhaul * average distance (centroid to centroid).
- Over Haul 2 (vol*dist)–volume of overhaul * average distance – Free Haul distance).
