Overlay with Subcut Component
Pavement overlay and widening. Up to three shoulder layers and a subcut.
Typical Cross Section
Parameters
ACPThick | Thickness of top asphalt concrete pavement (ACP) overlay.
ACPShoulderThick | Thickness of shoulder asphalt concrete pavement (ACP) layer.
BaseThick | Granular base course shoulder thickness.
UnderCutThick | Depth of undercut below GBC.
WideningWidth | Width (horizontal distance) of widening measured at the bottom of the ACP overlay.
ExistingWidth | Existing road width, measured at the bottom of the ACP overlay.
UnderCutBaseSlope | Slope of the base of the undercut. The current super elevation / crown is added to this slope.
ACPSlope | Fill slope of the ACP material.
BaseSlope | Fill slope of the base layer.
UC_Fill_Slope | Fill slope of the undercut.
CF_Probe_X | Horizontal offset to reference feature on existing pavement (use to calculate crossfall)
CF_Probe_Y | Vertical offset to reference feature on existing pavement (use to calculate crossfall)
Crossfall | Calculated crossfall - can be overridden |
