Accessing Support Files

The tutorial files referred to in the most of the Knowledge Base examples can be installed from the Updates section of support.softree.com. If the files are not available within those data sets, then the article will contain a direct link to the required files to complete the example.

Documents

The tutorial files (data sets) will be installed in the folder below by default: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Softree\TrainingV10\ (version 10)
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Softree\Training90\ (version 90)

It is possible to change this folder at install time; you can also copy it to a new location afterward if you wish.
 

Defaults and Layouts

The setup and layout files required for the examples are saved in the folder: <Defaults and Layouts>\Training

Where > depends on your operating system and application install. The common location for > is: C:\ProgramData\Softree\RoadEng
 

Note: You can always determine the actual folder by running the Terrain Module, selecting menu Setup tab|Setup group|Location Setup button|Install tab
