Software Installation

Softree provide a variety of software solutions for 3D Mapping, Corridor Design and Optimization.

All desktop software products require either a password, a USB security hardlock key, or access to a network license to open the software.
The security license issued with the software unlocks the functions and modules unique to your product.
There are 2 steps to install Softree products:
- Install software
- Install tutorial files (*not mandatory, but recommended)
Step 1 – Install Software
Software can be installed from the Software Updates page

- Select Product
- There are 2 download options. Download the executable file or download a zip file.
- If your firewall blocks executables use the Zip format. Download, save, unzip then click on the executable to install.
- Language can be customized during installation. English, Spanish and Croatian are the current available options.
Note: We are in the business of Engineering an Easier Way... That means for ourselves too! You might notice that your executable file name is not identical to your product name, and that's because we use function groups controlled through your security options to customize your product just for you.
Step 2– Install Tutorial Files (data sets)
The user documentation is formatted as a hands-on tutorial. The data files referred to in the documentation are not automatically installed with the software.
Tutorial Files can be installed from:
- The Software Documentation and Data-Sets Updates page
- Select Product
- There are 2 download options. Download the executable file or download a zip file.
- If your firewall blocks executables use the Zip format. Download, save, unzip then click on the executable to install.
The tutorial files will be installed to C:\Users\Public\Documents\softree\ It is possible to change this folder location at install time; you can also copy it to a new location afterward if you wish.
